Welcome to the Sparkles app. By accessing or using the app, you agree to abide by these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app immediately.
Your data is stored locally on your device unless you opt to use the backup feature. Sparkles you create and share with the community are stored on our server. If other users add your shared sparkle to their offline personal collection, it will remain on their device even if you delete your account. We are not responsible for any data loss or corruption, including in situations where the backup feature is used.
We respect your privacy. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties. We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage data, which helps us improve the app without collecting any personal information. Sparkles you share with the community are stored separately on our server, with no synchronization to your offline sparkles.
Widget backgrounds in the app may include photos sourced from Pexels and Unsplash. These photos are used under their respective licenses:
All content and materials within the Sparkles app are protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
The Sparkles app is provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any interruptions, errors, or data loss that may occur during the use of the app, including but not limited to issues caused by third-party services or user errors.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the app or that the app will function without errors. The app may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice.
By using the Sparkles app, you agree to indemnify and hold the app owner harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your use of the app or your violation of these terms.
It is your responsibility to back up your data regularly using the app’s backup feature. We are not liable for any loss or corruption of data, including cases where backups were not performed. If you share sparkles with the community, you are responsible for ensuring they comply with our content guidelines.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. You will be notified in the app of any significant changes, and continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

By creating an account, you can access the community features of Sparkles, which include viewing and sharing sparkles with other members. The following policies apply to community features:

Any reported sparkle that violates these guidelines will be reviewed manually and may be edited or removed at our discretion. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Our server infrastructure utilizes authentication and encryption tools where necessary. While we strive to protect your data, no system is entirely foolproof, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users to the best of our ability and in accordance with applicable laws.
Sparkles does not collect personal data beyond what is necessary to operate the community features. We only track and display how many times your shared sparkles have been added to other users' personal offline collections ("inspired").
